When every minute counts
Where the highest quality standards apply, even an unexpected machine shutdown can have far-reaching consequences. A defect in the Y-axis rail required immediate action. Thanks to the rapid response and extensive expertise of the AdoptSMT service technicians, the cause was quickly identified and a repair solution implemented.
As a result, the machine was returned to production readiness within a short period of time. Longer disruptions to the manufacturing process were avoided and the organisational effort for Commend was reduced.
Rather than installing the centre support immediately, the team deliberately opted for a step-by-step approach. The machine was first monitored under real production conditions to ensure that the repair was sustainably successful and to rule out possible subsequent faults.
This approach demonstrates what really matters in service: the fastest solution is not always the best one – the right solution is the one that ensures long-term stability and process reliability.

What began in 1995 with the first SMD machines has developed over the years into a trusted partnership. Today, AdoptSMT supports Commend across numerous areas of electronics manufacturing.
Over the course of the partnership, seven machines have been supplied to Commend and ten systems have been successfully remarketed through AdoptSMT. A broad service portfolio has also become an established part of the collaboration, including EKRA and Siplace service, feeder service, the supply of splice material, and VarioGrid as an alternative to Quick Tool.
The partnership is not simply about individual products or services. What matters is the combination of technical expertise, rapid availability and a clear understanding of the requirements of an active production environment.
